Midrise Window Questions‏

Midrise Unit Owners,

 

Management is working with the original window company to replace the glass in the Common Areas of the Midrise buildings.  Many of you may have noticed the glass is starting to cloud, discolor or even look as if it were bubbling.

 

Some midrise residents have also expressed interest in replacing the glass in their units due to the same problems. Please let me know if your glass is also showing failure and if you would be interested in replacing the glass. Management will contact the manufacturer to see if they would be willing to send down a representative to evaluated the windows and start the process.

It is my understanding the windows are under warranty for 10 years in the Greenwich building and 20 years in the Bristol building. The unit owner may need to pay for the labor to install the glass. Labor warranty was only 1 year from date of install.
