Dear Owner,
The Village at Mount Hope Bay Condominium Association is beginning the budget development process in anticipation of the 5/12/15 annual meeting. The budget calendar for this process is attached. Also, the current year’s budget (ratified at the last annual meeting) is attached for your reference.
The finance committee is requesting that you provide input to this process in the form of suggestions for cost savings or new expenditures that are important to the Village. These will be most useful if they include 1) the suggestion details and 2) the cost saving or additional cost associated with the suggestion. The finance committee, which I chair, needs to have these suggestions by 2/6/15, as shown on the budget calendar. Please send your suggestions to me.
You will have the opportunity to present your suggestions to the budget committee on 2/26/15 in a meeting open to unit owners. The intent of this meeting is for unit owners and committees to make and justify their suggestions and to be able to hear comments from other owners. A list of all of the comments received by 2/6/15, as well as the savings or costs, will be published prior to the meeting.
