Daponte's Landscaping is the snow removal company for the season. They will treat all sidewalks following snow events. Occasionally ice can collect on sidewalks between treatments. Some homeowners have chosen to spot treat their own sidewalks / driveways in the past. This is okay. However, please do not use store bought ice melt or rock salt on the concrete sidewalks. These products could contain high levels of salt or other hazardous chemicals that can cause damage to the concrete.
If you would like some ice melt for your personal use around your condo please contact the management office and maintenance will provide a small amount to you. The product that we use is supplied by the snow removal contractor and is safer on concrete and landscaping than some store bought products.
