Message from Landscape Committee‏

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

As we settle in to the Fall season, members of VMHB Landscape Committee have taken on a project for the betterment of our community.  Over the next several weeks, you may see us walking around your gardens or on your road snapping photos and logging plantings. Our objective is to assess the status of grounds.  We are determining where we are after 10 plus years and what we want to recommend to not only maintain the beauty of our grounds, but also make improvements.  We are formulating a plan --  probably a five year plan -- for garden, other common area and tree maintenance that will form the basis of our budget recommendations to the board.  We plan to determine what plantings were developer planted and which are owner changes and additions.  This will help to assign ongoing responsibility for plant maintenance appropriately to either the Association or the owner (current and future). It is an extensive project and may continue into the Spring. As a committee, we feel it is an important project that will not only save money for the Association, but improve our property.
Please let us know if you have any thoughts, questions, recommendations or concerns. We welcome anyone who would like to join our Landscape Committee.

Sincerely,
Heather Campbell, Chairman
