July 21: Your Right to Privacy
Whether it is protecting sensitive information held by your health insurers, identity theft from commercial data held by the stores you shop at, or even sensitive information in government personnel files, cyber hacking is one of the biggest challenges of the INTERNET era.
Our presenter, Linn Freedman, heads the Data Privacy and Security team at the leading regional law firm Robinson Cole. Her practice involves counselling clients on state and federal data privacy and security investigations and data breaches.
A native of New Orleans, Linn is a dynamic speaker and will provide us a better understanding of data privacy issues, and how we can protect ourselves.
