Midrise Residents,
Over the past couple of months a few issues with trash have come up that need clarification and correction.
1. The bins in the trash room are for recycling only. Do not place trash in the bins. Please bag your trash and deposit into the trash chute.
2. Recycling should not be placed in a plastic bag. If recycling is bagged it will be treated as trash at the processing plant. I have included a link on Rhode Islands recycling center.

3. Please do not put plants, dirt, oversize styrofoam, rolls of carpet, building material down the chutes. This will and has caused the chutes to become plugged resulting in time from maintenance to manually removed trash blockages from the chutes.
4. Please bag your trash. Do not dump unbagged trash down the chutes.
5. If it's really messy garbage (ie..grease, chicken or turkey remains) please double bag your garbage.
6. Trash rooms are unlocked and available for your use for oversize trash. They are the double doors right of the front entrance doors.
